Peter: The Competition

The competition is well underway, and it is great to see all of the different science projects that everyone came up with, from studies about melanoma to super-long nanofibers.

Outside of the competition, we (after a lot of begging Dr. Nolan) visited the Summer Palace, which never ceases to amaze me. Walking in dress shoes and heels was quite painful for us, but the sights were definitely worth it, like the large stone boat, the 750 meter Long Hall, and the actual palace itself.
