Alec: Public Day

Today was public day, and we were the main exhibit. More interesting than the posters were the contestants themselves and everyone wanted to take pictures and autographs. The poor translators were overwhelmed with the Chinese students. After that was the first half of the closing ceremony. They had a very interesting variety of skits and performances, most of which were lost in translation. However, the last performance was a dance conducted by the Ukrainians, and some of the international students joined in on the dancing. We had a lot of fun with the dance and that was the conclusion of the evening’s activities.
