Zebetta King, a Wake County Public School teacher, wrote about Ms. Horne:
“She has strongly advocated for a 60-minute instructional block of time for science instruction at grades 2-5 because she understands the importance of children having the opportunity to ‘do science’ and develop a conceptual understanding of science content.”
