Rachel: My Favorite Place

The Great Wall at Badaling was absolutely stunning and a perfect way to end a fabulous trip. Quite the hike, but every step was worth it. To imagine creating such a massive and complex projects before modern machinery was absolutely mind-boggling. If my calves were burning today, I can’t even imagine what it would be like to drag a rock up the mountain with me. A ‘wonder of the world’ doesn’t even begin to describe it.
